Joshua Armond is a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and product of the local Recreation Department. He has without doubt, ascended the ladder in the field of Swimming. The ladder includes our Buccaneer Swim Club, Nu Wave Swim Club (10 yrs.), Jesuit High School and now at the collegiate level, Delta State University (Swim Scholarship). Joshua has garnered a host of accolades such as State Champion, State Record Holder, Louisiana All State Swimmer, Coaches’ Choice Award and Jesuit Team Captain. He has also excelled in the classroom and surely exemplifies what a Student–Athlete is all about. Whenever a pool has a wave in it, there is a good chance that Joshua Armond was there.
