The St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame and Gulf Coast Bank are proud to announce that the organization will host its 24th annual golf tournament at Oak Harbor in Slidell on Sunday, November 3rd at 10:30am (tee off at 12pm). Registration fees for the event are $100/player or $400/foursome. Beer, lunch and dinner are included in the cost of registration. Hole sponsorship opportunities start at $50 per hole.
The St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame and Gulf Coast Bank will host the 24th annual Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Banquet at 6:30pm on May 4, 2019 at the Hall of Fame Center (Val Reiss) in Chalmette. Tickets for the event are $50/person or $500/table of ten. Dinner is included in the price of admission.
The St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame and Gulf Coast Bank recently hosted the 23rd annual Hall of Fame golf tournament at Oak Harbor in Slidell. The winning foursome included Craig Westcott, Andrew Allain, Jonathan Moore, and David Burch. The Borgnemouth Park Booster Club (BJ Vincens, Bret Crouchet, Ryan Provance, and Cory Jackson) won the 2nd Annual Hall of Fame Playground Challenge. Parkview Baptist High School (Ronnie Guillot, Michael Guillot, Charlie Ricks, and Joel Daste) won the 2nd Annual High School Challenge.
The St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame and Gulf Coast Bank recently hosted the organization’s 23rd annual induction and awards ceremony at the St. Bernard Civic Center in Chalmette. The 2017 induction class included Greg Castillo, Ricky Siegfried, and Sivi Lynn Elsensohn Miller. Dr. Tommy Warner, former Chancellor of Nunez Community College and member of the 2015 induction class, was the guest speaker at the event.
The St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame recently made a contribution ($1,000) to the Nunez Community College baseball team. Several Hall of Fame board members attended a recent Nunez game and presented the check to Coach Glenn Powell. The Hall of Fame also recently made a contribution ($1,000) to the St. Bernard Pirates youth football team. The Pirates travelled to Gatlinburg, Tennessee during the Thanksgiving holiday and won the annual Turkey Bowl.

Due to the tropical storm, the golf tournament has been postponed until 10/28.
The Hall of Fame recently presented a check to the Chalmette High School volleyball team for the purchase of new uniforms.
The St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame and Gulf Coast Bank are proud to announce that the organization recently contributed funding to Chalmette High volleyball ($1,500) and the Chalmette High color guard ($750).
The Hall of Fame recently contributed $1,700 to Carolyn Park. The funds will go toward a new scoreboard.

The St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame and Gulf Coast Bank are proud to announce its 22nd annual induction class and award winners. The induction class includes Jimmy Smith, Jose Becerra, and Kelly Melerine Plaisca. Rick Mocklin, Sr. has been named Humanitarian of the Year, and the Elphage Caillouette Special Recognition Award will be presented to Mike Biamonte. The Amateur Athletes of the Year are Dominic Curole of Chalmette High, Gabrielle O’Neil of Cabrini High, and Emily Pulley of Chalmette High.
The St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame and Gulf Coast Bank presented Chalmette High with a $4,000 contribution from the proceeds raised during the 2016 Hall of Fame golf tournament. “The Hall of Fame is really excited about making this contribution to Chalmette High. The school has been doing a great job academically and athletically, and we are happy to contribute to their continued success,” said Hall of Fame president Eddie Appel.

Congrats to Gabriella O'Neil of Arabi for coming in first place in the 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke, and 200-yard freestyle relay at the Louisiana High School State Championship meet. The team's 200-yard relay time also set a STATE RECORD. O'Neil is a freshman at Cabrini High.

Former professional baseball player Craig Westcott will head this year’s induction class, which also includes former standout athlete and coach Dr. Tommy Warner and All-Time Sunbelt Conference golfer Crystal Elliers Domreis.

The winning foursome included Scott Gaillot, Zack Gaillot, Chris Cooley, and Ross Macaluso. All proceeds from the golf tournament will be donated to athletic organizations and athletes in St. Bernard Parish.

The 20th annual Hall of Fame induction and award ceremony will be hosted on March 7, 2015 at the new St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame Center at Val Reiss Park in Chalmette. New Orleans Saints legend and sports radio personality Bobby Hebert will be the featured guest speaker. Tickets for the event will be $400/table or $40/individual.

The St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame is proud to announce that it has nominated former inductees Norris Weese (1994), Jerry Pellegrini (1994), and Bobby Nuss (1995) for the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. Weese was a standout football and baseball player at Chalmette High (1966-1969) and Ole Miss (1971-1973). He went on to play in the National Football League for the Denver Broncos (1976-1979).
