Gloria Rando Doran has spent the past 37 years as moderator of the Mt. Carmel High School Carmelettes dance team. Doran, a resident of Arabi, has led the Carmelettes to six national dance/drill championships and numerous state dance/drill championships. Doran was twice named state moderator of the year and was the first dance instructor inducted into the Hall of Fame.
